A Hartford holiday tradition returns this year with a special tea party now on the schedule.
Max Downtown will be the site of the Teddy Bear Tea, a get-together for children and parents to celebrate the spirit of giving that characterizes the holiday season. Attendees age 12 and younger will be able to play Santa for other children, by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the event.
The toys will be donated to patients at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, while the donors enjoy the Max Candy Buffet Experience, a Custom Cupcake Bar, and a Signature Max Bear. The event is designed to be a special day out, so everyone is asked to dress accordingly, preferably in holiday attire. Banner printing can be used to create decorations for events like this.
Max Downtown, a fine-dining restaurant in the city's downtown, has been in operation for more than 20 years. The restaurant is part of the Max Restaurant Group, which has 11 different establishments in the area.
The Teddy Bear Tea is set for December 7 at Max Downtown, beginning at 10:30 am. The final seating is at 2:00 pm. Reservations should be made and admission paid through Eventbrite, which will confirm the purchase. Open Table will then confirm the attendee's reservation once it has been made at Max Downtown. The event will offer free valet parking, or validated parking.
