The one and only KISS will be at the Xfinity Theater, with their guest, David Lee Roth, bringing their farewell End of the Road World Tour to the city.
The genesis of KISS took place late in the 1960s in New York City, when Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley first met. They went on to form a band called Wicked Lester early in the 1970s, but left, anxious to create a more distinctive sound. They did just that, blending hard rock with British glam rock's flamboyance, then adding makeup and costumes. In 2014, KISS was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
A review of a KISS concert says:
“Best show ever!!! The Music, the Performance, everything was Great. Had a wonderful time.”
Joining them on the tour is David Lee Roth, who shot to fame as the frontman for hard-rock band Van Halen. He has gone on to a successful solo career, but has also reunited with his old bandmates on occasion. A review of his performance says:
“Dave sang all the Great songs and more. He sounded way better than I expected. You could tell he was have [sic] a great time on stage as well. I thought the show was fantastic.”
KISS is scheduled to appear on September 5, at 7:30 pm. Poster printing is often used to publicize shows like this, as fans enjoy collecting souvenirs.
