More than 12,000 pop culture fans are expected to visit Hartford next month to attend the 18th annual ConnectiCon convention. Members from across the North Eastern United States will attend the four-day exhibition.
The event incorporates entertainment and programming for fans of video games, roleplaying games, card games, board games, comic Books, fantasy and science fiction, dystopian literature, popular television and movies, anime and animation, costumes, web content, creators and writers. and scientific facts. The festival includes cosplay events, expert panel discussions, and workshops. ConnectiCon attendees over the age of 18 may also participate in live music dance parties at venues in downtown Hartford throughout the weekend.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for this event, including advertising spaces on member badges and lanyards, festival Signs, and programs. Promotional Products are also needed for the swag Bags distributed to attendees.
ConnectiCon is held annually as a perk of a membership in the multi-fandom organization. Members also receive members newsletters and free admission to other events held throughout the year. Memberships cost $90, effective from October 1 to September 30 each year.
The 2021 ConnectiCon will be held on Thursday, September 9 from 2:00 to 11:00 PM; Friday, September 10 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM; Saturday, September 11 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM; and Sunday, September 12 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Connecticut Convention Center, located at 100 Columbus Boulevard in Hartford, will host the event. Memberships may be purchased in advance of the festival on the ConnectiCon website, or at the festival doors.
