The Pratt and Whitney Stadium in Hartford will be hosting a challenging race in June for people who are seven and older.
The Terrain Race is a unique 5K that incorporates obstacles into the course to give athletes a varied experience. There will be more than 15 challenges on the route, including mud pits, monkey bars, ropes, and walls. Each mile in the race will have an aid station where participants can get water. No snacks are provided during the activity, though attendees can bring their own food or energy gels. People may take on the 5K in teams or as solo competitors.
Those who register to race in the obstacle course will receive a finishers medal, racer bib, commemorative tee, and access to an after-party. The post-race celebration will feature musical entertainment and stalls that sell food and beverages. There is also a merch store where guests can purchase Apparel such as hoodies, socks, and flip-flops. Businesses that sell items while at races like this can use Promotional Products to attract eventgoers to their stalls.
The Terrain Race will take place on June 25, beginning at 8:00 am. Children aged 7-13 are allowed to participate if a parent accompanies them. The course will also have a Mini Monkey Run available for kids 2-10 years old. People can check their gear at the stadium for $5.
