The first annual Mocktail Tasting event is set to take place in Hartford next month.
A Promise to Jordan is the organizer of this fundraiser. This non-profit organization is located in Simsbury and is focused on combating the stigma around people who suffer from mental health and substance abuse disorders. A Promise to Jordan works to raise awareness on such issues, and to fund services that help people in need to receive access to recovery programs and necessary healthcare.
In preparation for the Mocktail Tasting event, restaurants and bars located in Hartford and the surrounding area will register to compete by making alcohol-free cocktails outside. Guests will be able to sample the mocktails as well as the appetizers that will be provided. When advertising local events, the hosts of similar fundraisers often turn to poster printing to create visually captivating promotional materials that feature registration and location information for anyone who may be interested in attending.
Anyone who wishes to take part in the Mocktail Tasting event in person can purchase tickets online at $45 per person. For those who would rather view the tasting online, tickets for the virtual event are priced at $35 per person.
The 2021 Mocktail Tasting event is scheduled to be hosted at Real Art Ways from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, May 13.
