The Muddy Dash will be coming to the Pratt and Whitney Stadium in Hartford in May.
The Muddy Dash is an event where participants can take on a multi-mile race course filled with mud-filled obstacles. Those who challenge the course will have to crawl, slide, and wade through various mudpits. The dash will be taking place in several cities throughout the United States, including Fort Worth, Chicago, and Salt Lake City.
The activity is not competitive, and all finishers will get a medal. Registrants will also receive a commemorative T-shirt and a racing bib. People may run the muddy course individually or as part of a team. The challengers must be at least seven to sign up for the event.
The organizers of the dash recommend that all participants bring running shoes, a change of clothes, towels, and sealable plastic Bags to the race. Spectators may bring blankets to sit on at the finish line. Costumes can be worn at the event so long as they do not endanger anybody.
The race will be on May 20 and will start at 8:00 am. Those interested in taking part in the challenge may pay $60. People may also volunteer for the event as medal distributors and helpers at the water tent. Companies that promote unique challenges like this may use flyer printing to attract more athletes to their events.
