Hartford residents can take part in a race this March that will benefit four charities for children.
Joey's Jog for Charity is an annual event where people can help kids in need by participating in a community 5K. This year, the program will support groups like the Molly Ann Tango Memorial Foundation, the Friends of Feeney, and The Miracle League of Connecticut. Many activities will be held throughout the charity jog, such as a costume contest and performances from Irish step dancers. A raffle will take place at Rockledge Grille once the race is completed.
Companies that want to promote their brands during the fundraising event may become a sponsor for Joey's Jog for Charity. The tiers begin at $100 and continue up to $10,000. The benefits of supporting the organizer's mission include receiving a shoutout in the event's booklet and displaying logos on mile markers. The highest sponsorship package offers perks like admission to the race's after-party and being depicted on the event's shirts.
The charity event will be on Sunday, March 26. The festivities will start at 9:00 am, and the race will begin at 10:30 am. The price to register for the jog is $40 per person, though children ages 13 and below can participate in the event for free. Organizations that arrange charity races like this may use banner printing to make advertisements for their outdoor events.
