Hartford hybrid gala to help children

The Connecticut Children’s Foundation will be organizing a gala in May at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.

The 25th Annual Connecticut Children’s Foundation Hybrid Gala is a fundraising event that can be joined in-person or virtually. The theme for this year’s activity is inspired by Pixar’s Brave and will feature entertainment such as highland games, bagpipers, and dancers. Guests can also bid during the gala’s auction and partake in prize drawings. Virtual attendees will get to see broadcasts of live conversations with Connecticut Children’s leaders and use the online selfie station.

Event proceeds will go to the Greatest Needs Children’s Fund, which helps the organization address the physical, social, and health-related needs of kids. People can become fundraisers for the Connecticut Children’s Foundation and assist the group with reaching its $15,000 goal. Participants have already raised more than $2,000 for the cause. Those who take part in fundraisers like this may use poster printing to generate more local awareness for the event.

The hybrid gala will be held on Saturday, May 7 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. There will also be a pre-event reception from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and a VIP dinner held from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. General admission tickets for the virtual event can be bought for $425. Sponsorships may also be purchased for the gala starting at $2,000.
