Hartford convention center to host garden show

North East Expos will be holding a flower and garden show in Hartford at the Connecticut Convention Center.

The CT Flower & Garden Show is a multiday convention where people can find floral inspiration from several exhibits and interact with industry-related vendors. The expo’s theme for 2023 is Gateway to Spring, and the event will feature landscape displays ranging from 300 to 2,000 square feet. Hundreds of booths will be set up at the garden show, including stalls from businesses like the Bittersweet Herb Farm, Flower Power Farm, and In The Beginning.

Attendees can also learn about gardening from experience presenters during the convention. This year’s guests include Kerry Ann Mendez, Pamm Cooper, and Rob Townsend. Several topics will be discussed at the show, such as climate change’s impact on rose culture, gardening with chickens, and how to start seeds successfully. People can also learn about the history of the state’s gardens by attending a lecture by Laurie Masciandaro during the expo.

The gardening convention will be held from Thursday, February 23 to Sunday, February 26. Tickets to the trade show will cost $20 for adults and $5 for kids aged 5-12. Discounts to the expo are available to those who purchase their admission in advance. Vendors who take part in industry events like this may bring promotional Pens to give away to attendees.
