A dating and socializing event is in the works in Hartford for next month, helping young professionals and residents forge connections and find love.
The Mix and Mini Date for Ages 21 through 29 will begin accepting registration requests soon, providing interested parties with a way to find romantic and platonic connections without using dating apps. The gathering will allow participants to try something new without the pressure of a full date.
The segment will begin with a mix-and-mingle experience to help attendees break the ice and start making connections. Guests are encouraged to grab a drink to take the edge off, though drinks will be an additional cost. Organizers will also supply icebreaker questions to help the conversation flow and alleviate nerves. Printing services can help participants keep track of their favorite connections and enjoy future conversations at such dating events.
A bell will signal the end of each speed dating round, at which point participants will rotate to meet with another new person at the event. Interested parties are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to settle in and get comfortable. Semi-casual attire is allowed, though participants should dress to impress.
The Sunberry Restaurant and Bar in Hartford will host the speed dating event on Sunday, April 6th, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Tickets are available online for $44.35 per person.
