Childrens culinary class delivers flavor to Hartford

A children’s culinary class will visit Hartford next month and bring several tasty treats for residents to make and enjoy.

The Pool Side Snacks Culinary Class for Kids will begin in a few weeks. It will usher in a learning experience for parents and their children to create healthy and flavorful snacks to enjoy by the pool this summer. The event will teach children and their parents the meal prep steps for several menu options, while allowing for fun in the sun at the pool.

The event is being organized by Stew Leonard’s Farm Fresh Food. Top menu options include pizza bagels, fruit smoothies, granola bites, and rice crispy treats. Parents with children with food allergies should notify the event’s organizer in advance, as peanut butter will be used in some recipes. Printing services are an effective way to Print and share recipes guests will learn at such culinary events.

Wheat, flour, and other food ingredients will be used, and the course will be held in a facility where peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens may be present. The event is geared toward children between six and 12 years of age.

Stew Leonard’s of Newton will host the course on Tuesday, July 16th, beginning at 1:00 pm and ending at 2:30 pm. Tickets start at $33.85, and reservations can be made online.
