A unique dating experience is in the works for Hartford next month, combining board games and conversation to spark romance for area singles.
The Board Game Speed Dating experience, hosted by Thomas Hooker Brewing, will begin welcoming registered guests soon with the goal of helping attendees find a romantic partner. Attendees will be met by the board game concierge upon arriving at the venue. The concierge will walk each guest through the different games available, with opportunities to play new games and nostalgia-inducing classics.
The board games and conversation will be complemented by several beer and alcoholic beverage options on tap. Attendees are asked to drink responsibly and utilize a designated driver if necessary. At the night's conclusion, participants will create a list of people they would like to date and people they enjoy hanging out with. Printing services are an ideal way to find the paper resources necessary for participants to take notes and write down their favorite people.
The dating experience is open to men and women between 24 and 39 years old. Games available will be based upon how many people attend the speed dating night.
The experience will be hosted by Thomas Hooker Brewing, 140 Huyshope Avenue on Thursday, February 6, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Tickets are for sale online, starting at $30 per person.
