Three events have been scheduled for Arvada to bring in the holiday season - a tree lighting, a pop-up market, and Santa Paws.
At the Olde Town Arvada Tree Lighting at 7401 Grandview Avenue (Carly’s Boutique), Guerrilla Fanfare, a brass band, will begin the evening at 5:00pm with a parade through town as holiday lights are turned on by local businesses. The parade will end at the square where holiday activities await. The tree lighting itself will take place at 6:00pm. Afterwards, the fun continues until 8:30pm with live music from The Elegant Plums. This is scheduled for November 26.
The night before on November 25, Olde Town Square will be transformed into a German Christmas Market. Olde Town Arvada Holiday Pop-up Market on that Friday and Saturday will begin at 4:00pm and end at 8:00pm. The market will continue weekends ending Sunday, December 18. Sunday hours will be 11:00am to 4:00pm, Saturdays will run from 11:00am to 7:00pm, and Friday hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
Santa Paws Photos will be available December 4 from 11:00 to 2:00pm at Malara Gardens, 7190 Kipling Street, allowing visitors a photo opportunities with Santa and their pets. Many animal lovers take pictures of themselves and their furry friends to local Print shops to be made into Holiday Cards.
