Arvada's second annual Arvada Summerfest has been scheduled for early June.
Festivities will be free and the venue will be pet and family friendly. Festival highlights will include live music on Second Stage provided by local talent from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Booty and the Beat playing funk and soul will perform from 11:00 am to noon, Jesh Yancey and the High Hopes will play folk and rock and roll from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm, and D.J. Williams Band headed by songwriter, guitarist and producer D.J. Williams will play psychedelic/funk/rock from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm on the Main Stage.
Free activities including face painting and inflatables for the kids will take place in the Kids' Zone, and a beer garden selling beverages from local breweries with proceeds going to Arvada Sunrise Rotary, Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis Club and Arvada Vitality Alliance will run from 11:00 am to 4:00 am.
Commercial/promotional booths will have local businesses selling services and goods and giving away Promotional Products. Craft vendors will be selling their original items onsite and passing out colorful Business Cards. Local food trucks will be selling summer goodies.
Attendees are encouraged to ride bikes to the event, and a bike valet will be free.
Arvada Summerfest will take place on Saturday, June 6th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at Ralston Park Addition at Simms Street and 64th Avenue.
