Arvada enjoys Summer Festival

Arvada's Second Saturdays Summer Festival is in full swing and will run through the beginning of August.

The festival will be free and will feature more than 50 artisan vendors, food and drinks trucks, and a kids’ zone.

The festival began on May 10th with the bands Guerrilla Fanfare, Jive Bomberz, May Be Fern, and the Hip Snacks. It will continue June 14th with Chuck Sitero & Friends, The Elegant Plums, and Hand Turkey. Eminence Ensemble will end the evening at the Bank Stage from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

The July 12th audience will be treated to School of Rock Broomfield, Natural Motives, and the Copper Children. That evening will end with the Eric Golden Band on the Bank Stage from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

For August 9th, the lineup will include Deeply Rooted Music School, Boot Gun, and Altaphonic. Matt Kirk and the Gueyfarers will end the evening and wrap up the festival performing from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm on the Bank Stage.

The Square Stage will be located in Olde Town Square's Northwest corner, and the Bank Stage can be found in the parking lot between 12 Volt and Community Banks of Colorado.

Arvada's Second Saturdays Summer Festival will be at the pedestrian mall along Grandview & Olde Wadsworth Avenue, beginning at 5:00 pm on each night. Festivalgoers often sport colorful T-Shirts on which local Print shops have put together a logo for the town or the festival's music groups.
