New this year, Arvada Summerfest will take place as the town's new summer kick-off festival coming in early June.
Replacing the former Arvada Days and Arvada on Tap, the free summer celebration will welcome local families and their pets.
Live music will be performed by Mighty Holler, The Barlow, and Earl Nelson & the Company. A Kids' Zone will feature inflatables and other activities to keep the little ones occupied, and a free photobooth will offer everyone a chance to take home commemorative photos.
Pets can be entered in both the parade and swimsuit competition.
A beer garden will be in full swing with all proceeds going to the event's community service partners.
Community fundraising partners this year will include Arvada Vitality Alliance, Arvada Sunrise Rotary and Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis Club.
There will be plenty of food available from food trucks including soft serve ice cream from Power Cone, finger food, tacos and sandwiches from Fanwhich, and Mexican street-style tacos from Beltran's. Buckaroo will offer concessions and popcorn, and coffee will be available from the Astro Coffee Van.
A vendor area will feature promotional/commercial booths, local businesses, crafters and non-profits. Vendors that attend events like this often have Business Cards printed at local Print shops beforehand.
Arvada Summerfest will take place Saturday, June 7th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Ralston Park Addition, 64th and Quail Street.
