Like many other municipalities located throughout Southern California, Valley Village will soon be celebrating National Night Out. All residents are encouraged to take part in this one-day event, and all it is open to ages.
National Night Out is country-wide celebration that typically takes place during the summer. While specific dates may vary, the intention tends to be the same. This event is a great way to foster community networking, to appreciate the efforts of public servants, and to raise money for charitable causes. Organizers expect a high turnout this year.
Valley Village National night out also offers guests a variety of ways to enjoy the evening. Some on-site activities set to take place this year include raffles, live music, games, on-site food vendors, and areas designated for children. Residents can also take place in a glow stick walk alongside members of the Los Angeles Police Department.
