Classical music comes to Valley Village area
Residents of Valley Village and nearby townships have begun to take interest in a classical concert taking place in early December. The Arpegge Piano and Guitar Duo will be performing in nearby Burbank; only a stone's throw away from Valley Village.
This award-winning duet has already gained a significant amount of acclaim throughout Europe, and South America. Pianist Meriette Saglie will be joined by guitarist Laura Mazon Franqui to create a memorable evening of entertainment for all guests.
Their current program will feature music from famous artists Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Franz Xaver Gruber, Isaac Albeniz, JoaquĆn Rodrigo, and Federico Moreno Torroba. A selection of traditional Welsh music will also be performed; suiting a wide range of tastes. This event is being hosted by the Athena Foundation for the Arts, and it slated to last for approximately 1.5 hours.
