Valley Village is set for first Pawlympics

The Valley Village area will be celebrating the dog days of summer a little bit early when it plays host to an activity planned with Fido in mind.

The first ever Pawlympics is on the way for the Los Angeles Coliseum, and it will give every dog its day. It will be an event filled with friendly competitions, and while everyone has fun, they will be supporting area canine rescue.

The guests at the gathering will be invited to snap lots of photos for special media, and there will be an assortment of local small businesses to support, Pups and human kids are welcome to enter free of charge, and the pets, along with their human companions, can meet and mingle. There are two different ticket tiers to choose from, and the price starts at $35 each.

Those who opt for the Pawsitive Action Supporting Shelters (PAWS) ticket will receive a swag bag that is filled with Promotional Products featuring a special graphic design. Many of the Corporate Gifts will be donated by local small businesses that care about companion animals.

The inaugural installment of Pawlympics will be celebrating dogs and all they add to people’s lives on June 30th. It is scheduled to take place at 391 1 South Figueroa Street, and it is one of the dog themed events organized by Pawsitive Mgmt.
