Valley Village celebrates life of Bob Barker
This April, the Valley Village area will be celebrating the life of a TV personality and philanthropist with a special event for families.
The Bob Barker Marionette Theater will be hosting its 11th annual Bob Barker Day, and it promises fun for all ages. This year's theme is "Recovery Through the Arts”, and a variety of community partners will be taking part.
The activity will feature performances of puppetry, and everyone can try their hand at the games on offer. Food will be available, and a variety of vendor tables will be on site to browse through. There will be special guests on hand to meet in what will be a carnival-style experience. While admission is free, RSVPs are required, and donations will be welcomed.
As with many not-for-profit celebrations, Bob Barker Day is counting on the support of volunteers. A printer's graphic design team can prepare a logo, which can be added to the T-shirts, caps, and other clothing worn by those volunteering at an event.
