Valley Village area tips hat to Sea Services
The USA is proud of its Sea Services, and a special celebration will be held in the Valley Village area that will offer them a salute.
Each May, the area celebrates Fleet Week, which takes place annually on Memorial Day weekend. There will be a wide assortment of activities for the public to enjoy, and all ages may find something to catch their interest.
During the event, the attendees will be treated to tours of active duty ships, and there will be demonstrations of an assortment of military equipment. Aircraft flyovers will add an extra thrill to the occasion, and live entertainment, including military bands, has been scheduled as well.
While the function will be focused on Sea Services, the branches of the military have been invited to get in on the fun by taking part in the friendly competition of a culinary cook-off, and the winning team will walk away with bragging rights. Certificates, as well as custom designed awards, can be ordered from a printer that crafts customized corporate gifts.
The 2025 LA Fleet Week will run from May 23 to 26. The LA Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles will be the venue for much of the festivities, and the band performances will welcome audiences at locations across the city. More details are available on the Visit Long Beach website.
