The UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden is home to a variety of displays, and it has scheduled its biggest event of the upcoming year. It will shine a spotlight on the plants and animals native to the state, and there will be fun for all ages.
The all-day event will welcome one and all, and food trucks will be on hand to make sure everyone is well fed. The public can enjoy an assortment of activities, including tours of the garden and its Clarkia Hill, which is expected to be in full bloom at the time. The garden's new Logo Design will be on display, featuring a stylized version of the flower Forms often seen in this genus, and admission to the festivities will be free.
