The Compassion Gala, which honors notable animal advocates, will be held by Last Chance for Animals (LCA) in Beverly Hills in October.
Residents of nearby Studio City who are lovers of animals and interested in their welfare will not want to miss this special event.
This is the annual major fundraising event for LCA and celebrates over 30 years of animal advocacy, and recognizes those who share the mission of the organization to eliminate the mistreatment of animals around the world. Since its founding, it has been successful in facilitating protection of animals and positive changes in legislation. Such organizations may want to use poster printing to promote such galas and their fundraising efforts.
There will be arrivals of VIP and celebrities on the red carpet, a cocktail reception, vegan hors d’ouevres, and sit-down dinner. There will also be live entertainment and dancing in addition to the awards program, which will be hosted by comedian Sarah Lawrence.
The Celebrity Activist Award will be given to Elaine Hendrix for her 20 years of work in rescuing, adopting, fostering, and educating people on animals in need. The Albert Schweitzer Award will be given to Stacey Kivowitz who is a philanthropist and advocate for animal welfare.
The Compassion Gala will be held on Saturday, October 15 at the Beverly Hilton beginning at 6:00 pm.
