Studio City is planning a number of events, including a farmers market, and an arts and crafts show.
Local events like these are often promoted throughout the community with poster printing.
Every Sunday is the Studio City Farmers Market which can be found on Ventura Place. The market is co-owned by the Studio City Residents Association and the Studio City Chamber of Commerce Foundation. A non-profit organization all proceeds of the market after expenses return to the community.
Among the items that can be found at the market are handmade artisanal crafts, dried fruits, baked goods, flowers, and some of the freshest and best locally grown fruits and vegetables. For the kids, the market also features pony rides, a train rides, face painting, and a petting zoo, among others. The market is opened throughout the year from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Rotary Club of Sherman Oaks and Studio City will be holding an arts and crafts show this May for one entire weekend at Moorpark Park on the northeast corner of Moorpark Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard. This has been a successful event for both art lovers and artists over the past 30 years.
All the items at the show are original and hand-made. The proceeds of this arts and crafts show which the Rotary Club raises go to many charitable organizations in the community. The hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with free admission.
