Many Halloween-themed events are opening in the next few weeks in and around Studio City.
One will be Opening Night for the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride 2019. The park will be transformed into Midnight Falls, where jack-o-lanterns will light the town square. The square’s stage will have live entertainment, and there will be plenty of beverage and food booths. Local “townsfolk” will be lurking around to add to the spooky ambience.
Looming over the town will be Midnight Mortuary Haunted House. There, attendees can take a tour through an old funeral parlor.
Guests can go trick-or-treating in a maze, stopping at 12 homes with ghouls as residents.
In the forest, just outside Midnight Falls, will be Roadkill Ranch – an open-air maze containing deceased animals returning to life. This maze winds through haystacks, corn fields, and a barn.
Three short-play escape rooms, each having a different Halloween theme, will be available for $5 each. The truly brave will go on the Haunted Hayride, where hideous creatures will spill out along the route as the ride meanders through the foothills outside of Midnight Falls.
Souvenir photos will also be available for purchase. Sometimes, people who purchase photos like these like to take them to Stationery printers for duplicates or for personalized Halloween-themed note cards.
Los Angeles Haunted Hayride 2019 opening night will be at the old zoo in Griffith Park, 4730 Crystal Springs, tomorrow, September 28, beginning at 6:00 pm.
