Starlight Bowl to resound with rock music

Studio City music enthusiasts can enjoy performances from hard rock bands Blue Öyster Cult and Jefferson Starship this summer.

Blue Öyster Cult fans have enjoyed their powerful albums full of classic songs for over four decades. They have the distinction of being among the few hard rock or heavy metal bands who have earned both critical praise and commercial success. When Blue Oyster Cult released their first album in 1972, they were commended for their catchy but heavy music and lyrics. Their classics include Don’t Fear The Reaper, Godzilla, and Burnin’ for You.

Jefferson Starship features the historic band members David Freiberg, drummy Donny Baldwin, Grammy nominee and female lead vocal Cathy Richardson, Chris Smith on keyboards and synth bass, along with Jude Gold on lead guitar. Popular songs that keep the Jeffersonians’ legacy alive include Volunteers, White Rabbit, Today, Wooden Ships, Miracles. Somebody to Love, Count on Me, Jane, Fast Buck Freddie, and Find Your Way Back.

Tickets can be purchased from the Starlight Bowl website and prices range from $30 to $ 250. Parking will be available at the venue for $20. Paying adults must accompany anyone aged under 18. Publicists for bands often use poster printing to advertise details about upcoming shows like this.

The event will be held on July 25 at the Starlight Bowl. Doors open at 4:30 pm and the show begins at 6:30 pm, with Melting Vinyl the opening set.
