Special concert to come to Studio City

Doctor Wu will be performing the music of Steely Dan at The Write-Off Room on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City next month.

The Doctor Wu Band has been performing since 2000 throughout Southern California, featuring the sophisticated and successful popular music of Steely Dan. Tony Egan is the lead singer for the 11-piece band that consists of four horns, four rhythms, and three background vocalists.

The show will feature blockbuster hits from Steely Dan, with every performance recreates the authenticity and texture of the music created by the original band. Steely Dan themselves were formed in 1971 and are still classed as active today, although it has been several years since they released any new material.

This show is for those who are 21 years of age and older, as there is a two-drink minimum. Reservations for the show are strongly recommended to be made in advance. There will be a full bar and VIP seating available, as well as valet parking and parking on the street. Pabilito’s Tacos will be offering food for purchase.

There is a long history of using poster printing in the entertainment industry to promote such special concerts, as well as movies, comedic acts, and the venues where such performances can be enjoyed.

This performance will be on Saturday, June 17 at 8:00 pm, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m.
