Seven up for Studio City music lovers

Studio City music lovers have an opportunity to enjoy an upcoming night of free family entertainment at a local café.

The program, titled ‘Bryan Chan and Friends Music Showcase’ promises to have something for everybody, and features seven artists who will be performing half-hour shows.

First up will be Andy Rigrod, a singer/songwriter with tunes such as ‘I’m Dating my Wife’ and ‘I’ll be Fine’. Following his performance will be Jacqui Bowe, whose presentation will center on comedic songs from her play entitled ‘Jacqi Bowe’s Not Quite Herself Lately’.

After these two performers, guitarist and singer Andrew Cooper will play his own songs in a variety of genres including pop, blues, and classical. Next up, Bryan Chan will add his own flavor of blues. He will be followed by Natasha Wood, who not only sings and writes songs but also plays many different instruments.

Keeping the entertainment going will be Gary Corman, who will bring his flair for indie music and rock hits. Shanna O‘Brien will close out the evening with music from both her first and upcoming second album of original music. The night’s performers are likely to inspire a need for a lot of poster printing before and after the event.

The Showcase will be presented Saturday, April 26, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Jump Cut Café, 13203 Ventura Blvd, Studio City.
