Those who love music will not want to miss an upcoming evening of ‘Rockin’ the Legends’ with Michael Anthony Perna and friends.
The event will be an up close and personal encounter with the keyboard master and some of his musician buddies, such as John Darin on percussion and drums. To top it all off, the event will be free.
Perna will be presenting a high-energy musical show that begins with Beethoven and romps through musical ages to the blues, on to ragtime, and ends with rock and roll. He will demonstrate piano styles of the great showmen such as Liberace, Elton John, and Stevie Wonder. He also sings the classics such as ‘Imagine’, ‘A Whole Lot of Shakin’ Goin’ On’, and ‘Piano Man’.
The musician is known for being the Academy Awards’ Musical Director for four years. He is also recognized for his work in television, concert and films. His real love is rock and roll, a lot of which he produces and composes. He is an international recording artist who has performed in more than 18 countries.
