Nutritionist to tackle chronic health issues at library

Local Studio City people who are concerned about their overall health and wellbeing might want to head over to the local library next month, as nutritionist Robin Shirley offers a Take Back Your Health Nutrition Workshop.

The event is meant to offer people with annoying or chronic health problems advice on how to feel better.

Shirley is the founding president of an organization called Take Back Your Health Int’l. Its goal is to offer people a means for living a more healthy lifestyle though smarter eating choices, moderate exercise, and daily habits that can lead to feeling healthy and well.

She will be giving a lecture at the seminar, answering questions and meeting one-to-one with people who wish to speak to her after her remarks. She will also talk about ways people can deal more directly with chronic problems such as Lyme disease, diabetes, arthritis, lupus, and fibromyalgia.

Those who plan to attend may want to consider their own health issues beforehand and write down questions prior to the seminar. They may also want to consider having flyer printing done to help promote the event.

The seminar will be held Thursday, March 24, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the Studio City Branch Library, 12511 Moorpark Street, Studio City. The seminar will be free and open to anyone who wishes to attend.
