Boisson, a retailer based in New York that offers non-alcoholic wine, beer, rum, gin, and whiskey, is opening new locations in Studio City as well as Beverly Hills and Brentwood.
Boisson was launched last year with the goal of providing non-alcoholic beverages to consumers in a welcoming environment that encourages people to explore its many options. Among the brands the retailer sells are Kin Euphorics, Bravus Brewing, Betty Buzz, and mixers from Hella Cocktail Co. The sales of the company have increased more than seven times since it started.
Co-founders Nick Bodkins and Barrie Arnold started Boisson at a time when many people were beginning to rethink their drinking habits. As they began working with more and more non-alcoholic options, they decided to create a store that would be the one-stop place for customers, offering many accessible options.
Bodkins said that the shop offers some inexpensive wines in addition to those in the price range of $30 to $40, and spirits ranging from $25 to $45. The goal is to appeal to a wide cross-section of people, ranging from those who are more health conscious and might want to drink less overall, to those doing so for religious reasons. Flyer printing is a popular way to promote such new stores in a city and their unique offerings.
The location in Studio City on Venture Boulevard is expected to open before the end of the month.
