Locals can get to know local Valley Village law enforcement

This weekend, the local chamber of commerce has organized a meet-and-greet event that will allow Valley Village residents to speak with law enforcement professionals.

Valley Village is a tranquil residential community, but like anywhere, safety is always a concern. Dubbed "Coffee with a Cop," the primary purpose of this gathering is to introduce the Valley Village community to police officers who regularly patrol the streets. Guests will also have the opportunity to ask any questions, and to highlight any ongoing concerns they may have.

There is no exact agenda. Coffee with a Cop is rather an informal event that represents more of a roundtable discussion than a conference, hence attendees normally find it easy to network with other like-minded Valley Village neighbors.

Common advertising methods such as flyer printing, Brochures, and Banners are often used to promote this type of event. There is also plenty of information to be found online.

Coffee with a Cop is being sponsored by the Los Angeles Police Department in conjunction with the Neighborhood Council Valley Village (NCVV). It is taking place this Saturday, June 7, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The morning is free to attend and is being hosted by the Valley Village Farmers’ Market at 5000 Colfax Avenue. More details can be obtained by calling (818) 759-8204.
