For all Studio City opera and Broadway music lovers, there will be ‘An Afternoon of Musical Theatre’ coming up in just over a week’s time.
This will be a free concert that will take place, very conveniently, in our own back yard. No reservations are required to enjoy it.
Soprano Jennifer Seidman and baritone Andy S. Watson will be singing light opera selections from works such as La Boheme and the Marriage of Figaro. With Broadway show tunes from musicals such as ‘Man of La Mancha’, ‘South Pacific’, ‘Les Miserables’, ‘Phantom of the Opera’, and ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, there should be something with which everybody is familiar.
Seidman completed her undergraduate musical training at the University of Redlands and has a Master’s Degree in Operatic Performance. Watson, meanwhile, has performed with operas around California, including the San Diego Opera.
The operatic pair has been performing free concerts for libraries around the Los Angeles area for a few years. The concert should be an excellent opportunity for attendees who wish to share digital Business Cards with one another at the performance, especially if they make a living from the performing arts.
The concert will be held Saturday, July 19, starting at 3:30 pm and continuing until 4:30 pm at the Studio City Branch Library, 12511 Moorpark Street, Studio City.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
