Several activities are taking place in Studio City and neighboring towns for the holiday season.
The Studio City Chamber of Commerce, located on Radford Drive, is holding an online collection drive known as “Adopt a Senior for the Holidays.” Donations from residents will be used to purchase gift cards for senior citizens in need during this time of year. Each senior will receive a card, chocolates, and a minimum of a $50 gift to the store of their choice. People can make donations until the end of the month.
A place for shopping is the Holiday Season Indoor and Outdoor Pop-Up at Tujunga Village on Tujunga Avenue in Studio City. There are over 20 small businesses selling their special items of the season both indoors and outdoors at the village. This runs through Monday, December 20 and hours are from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Harry Potter fans can visit “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Universal Studios in Hollywood. The wizardry of Hogsmeade is combines with the spirit of the holiday, complete with merry décor. The Hogwarts Frog Choir will perform a cappella, Three Broomsticks will be serving festive savory fare, and the village is filled with a jolly ambiance for people to stroll. This is open daily until Sunday, January 2.
Such activities are often advertised and promoted throughout an area with poster printing.
