Studio City people interested in supporting new talent in the entertainment industry will want to go to the upcoming Greenhouse Christmas Gala and Fundraiser.
Donations will be gathered at the door and used for the support of the Greenhouse Arts and Media. The evening will consist of a night of music, photo opts with people in the entertainment industry, food, and raffles.
The Greenhouse Arts and Media is a 501 nonprofit organization that aids people engaged in creative arts by mentoring groups and supporting artistic projects. It provides artists with opportunities to create quality entertainment and art that inspires the soul, such as the Spotlight Workshops classes.
The proceeds from this gala enable the organization to keep admission fees to these events minimal—some as low as $35 per person. The organization also offers a series of speakers from all genres of the entertainment industry, from actors, film editors, and producers, to writers, executives, and directors. Greenhouse supports Hollywood Connect; a website and program that helps creative professionals during their first five years in the entertainment business.
Registration is required, so visitors can get on the security list for admittance to the CBS Studios lot. Selfies taken at the event should make interesting subjects for Stationery printing.
The event will be on December 7, 7pm-10pm at the CBS Studio Center, 4024 Radford Ave, Studio City.
