The annual L.A. Times Festival of Books will continue near Studio City this fall.
For over two decades, L.A. Times has typically held the Festival of Books each April as an in-person event. Due to the new safety protocols regarding public gatherings for 2020, L.A. Times delayed April’s usual festival and has instead scheduled it to occur in a series of events throughout four weeks this autumn.
The University of Southern California (USC) along with L.A. Times Poster will host book-related events such as readings and book discussions with their respective authors. Residents from Studio City and other nearby communities within the area are welcome to join. Poster printing serves organizers of similar festivals as a highly efficient way to notify locals as to specific event details within many venues.
Published writers who will be participating in November’s events include Frank Wilderson, Emily Bernard, Jasmine Guillory, Rebekah Weatherspoon, Jennifer Taub, Sarah Chayes, Kristen L. Zaleski, and Nicholas Christakis.
Each separate event that the Festival of Books includes is free for all participants. In order to join, those who are interested can register online to reserve a place for their chosen topic.
The 25th L.A. Times Festival Of Books will continue to take place throughout the first half of next month in Los Angeles until its conclusion on Friday, November 13.
