Wellness fair to be held in September

The first Family Wellness Fair will be held by Bastyr University Clinic next month in San Diego. Those from nearby Sorrento Valley will want to attend this free event, which is open to the public, to join the community in celebrating wellness and health.

There will be students and faculty from Bastyr University California as well as vendor booths with free samples, natural goods and foods offering various activities throughout the day. Among these activities will be botanical medicine and healthy cooking demonstrations, both offering free samples, henna painting, free acupuncture and physical medicine treatments, and yoga on the lawn. Courtney and Monicka will perform live music sets and there will also be a talk on women’s hormones.

Banner printing can be used to keep attendees aware of such activities and any other special endeavors taking place during events like these.

Chief Medical Officer at Bastyr University Clinic, Ryan McNally, ND, MS, Pac, commented that the purpose of the event is to introduce naturopathic medicine and wellness products to people in the community. The goal of the clinic at Bastyr University is to help its patients have healthy lives so the fair is a way to inform the community of the services based on natural medicine that the clinic offers.

The Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 1.
