Toy collectors will have the chance to get their favorite pieces values at the Vintage Toy and Doll Roadshow Appraisal event this weekend in the San Diego area.
Carol Kearney, a Certified Personal Property Appraiser, will be conducting the item estimates for auction. BlueVault has time slots available for participation on a limited basis. The event is expected to attract participants and spectators from across Mission Valley, as well as Sorrento Valley residents.
Each selected participant is allowed three items, as long as they are considered toys or dolls. Some toys and dolls are worth a lot of money, so this is a good opportunity to find out what might be in one’s collection.
BlueVault estimators base the value appraisals on physical inspection combined with expertise and experience in the field. The price appraised is based upon what a reputable auctioneer would be able to sell the item for at an auction. The item should be submitted without any restoration, cleaning, or altering of original condition. Due to changes in the market place, values can fluctuate, so the appraiser does not guarantee any specific monetary returns.
Auction coordinators require specific printed materials to conduct the event so they often use printing services from local printing companies. Flyer printing is an effective method to economically promote an event, as Flyers can be hung on flat surfaces, hand-distributed, or direct mailed. They also make nice souvenirs for attendees.
The event will take place this Saturday, January 26, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the BlueVault located at 5638 Mission Center Rd. Admission to the show is free.Get a Free Quote for Flyers
