The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance will be coming back to La Jolla in the spring of next year. This classic automobile show is sufficiently close to Sorrento Valley that residents of that community will not want to miss this special weekend.
This year, Cadillac will be the featured honoree as it is the oldest brand of automobiles, having been founded in 1901. There will be a spectacular display of these models, along with Bentley, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and the Mach 1 Mustang, which is turns 50. It is expected that there will be 130 vehicles from all over the world on display in total.
An exclusive themed party will get the weekend underway, followed by the yearly Tour d’Elegance the next day, with a VIP Reception on the Concours lawn in the evening. The festivities will conclude on the Sunday with the showing of the automobiles, a honey tasting and champagne garden, and a VIP lounge.
Proceeds of the event will go to the La Jolla Historical Society and several other local nonprofit organizations. Banner printing companies can be hired to create displays in surrounding communities so that people learn more about such special events and their fundraising efforts.
The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance will be held from Friday, April 12 through Sunday, April 14, 2019.
