Sorrento Valley goes on tour of France

Wine enthusiasts in the Sorrento Valley region are looking forward to WineSellar and Brasserie’s Raison d’Etre Walk Around Wine Tasting. The event features samples and education for anyone looking to learn more about French wine.

France is well-known for its wines, but this event seeks to highlight what goes into the wine and why their flavor is so highly prized. The tasting will have 20 different vintages on hand for guests to sip and savor, along with educational Brochures about the wines, their flavors, and a bit of geographical information about them. On the day, visitors will also be able to get a special price on all the wines featured for the event.

Each wine represented is a superior vintage. All of them have been rated 90 points or more by respected wine evaluators such as Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, or Wine Spectator. Featured wines include a 2015 Tete du Cuvee, a 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape, and a 2012 Les Touilleres. Wines are subject to change due to availability.

The Raison d’Etre Walk Around Wine Tasting will be held on April 29 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the WineSellar and Brasserie, located at 9550 Waples St. Tickets cost $28 a person or $25 for WineSellar Club Members. Anyone looking for more information should check the website.
