Many Halloween events and activities are coming to the Sorrento Valley area in the coming days.
The annual celebration of Loma Portal Elementary School will be held at its campus on Browning Street. There will be treats, food, a bounce house and other inflatables, pony rides, a petting zoo, an obstacle course, and face painting.
This event will be for both children and adults. There will be food trucks offering burgers, Greek and Mexican food, and coffee. Other activities will include carnival games, balloon artists, and a caricaturist.
Vendors will have tables featuring their businesses. This often provides an excellent opportunity for them to use business card printing so that those who stop by and are interested in their services can contact them in the future. This event will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm this Friday, October 27.
The Ocean Beach Recreation Center will be hosting a carnival and movie in the park at the field of Ocean Beach Elementary. There will be snacks, games, and more starting at 4:00 pm on Friday, October 27.
Shortly after, Liberty Station will be celebrating the centennial of the establishment of the former Naval Training Center (NTC), and combining it with Halloween. There will be live entertainment, trick-or-treating, a costume contest, crafts, and inflatables, all while honoring the oldest living recruits of the NTC. This event will be on Sunday, October 29 from noon to 4:00 pm.
