Second brewery to open outside of Sorrento Valley

A second tasting room of California Wild Ales will be opening in Ocean Beach on Newport Avenue.

Founder and co-owner of California Wild Ales, Zack Brager, said this will be another location outside of the Sorrento Valley brewery, which will enable the brewery to share its love of wild ales with the greater community of San Diego. Brager has resided in Ocean Beach and expressed his excitement about returning to the area.

Bill DeWitt, co-owner of California Wild Ales, added that opening a location in Ocean Beach has always been a dream of theirs, as they both are fond of the vibrant and close-knit community. Such new establishments can advertise such openings in a new spot using local printing services.

California Wild Ales will be located in what was once the Two Roots Tap Room and will offer a tap list of ales on a rotating basis that will be available for both outdoor and indoor enjoyment. There will be 16 taps in the tasting room that will include 10 different flavors of sour beer, and six taps of surprise flavors. Among the favorites from which to choose will be several peach beers, including Peach on Peach and Peach Cobbler, and a grape-based Rosé. New beer flavors will be introduced on a regular basis.

The tasting room is scheduled to open within the next six months.
