New taco restaurant comes to beaches of southern California

A new location of City Tacos, along with a tasting room from Mike Hess Brewing, will be coming to the coast of Imperial Beach.

The first phase of the project will be the tasting room with 21 taps. The entire venue, when completed, will be 4,300 square feet in size and will have a deck, fire pits, picnic tables in a large beer garden area, and outdoor games. At the grand opening of the restaurant, the first 200 guests will receive free tacos.

City Tacos be offering items like its locations in Las Mesa and North Park and some favorites from its sister restaurant, IB Street Tacos, including seafood tacos and sides such as corn on the cob. The plan is to expand the menu to include tostados, appetizers and breakfast plates, such as eggs benedict.

Print shops can be used for printing such Menus and featured items, as well as any daily specials of restaurants.

Gerry Torres, owner of City Tacos, is looking to expand to more locations, including Roselle Street in Sorrento Valley and Mission Boulevard on Pacific Beach. Another location is planned for the Encinitas Lumberyard Shopping Center that will feature a fire pit, a wrap-around patio of 1,000 square feet in area, and foosball tables. This restaurant is expected to open sometime later this month.
