The annual county fair will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in a few months. Residents of Sorrento Valley are sure to want to attend this special event.
Homegrown Fun will be presented by the San Diego County Fair and is a celebration of agriculture and community offering favorites of those living in the region. This year it will feature popular food from fair vendors, education and exhibits about agriculture, and retail shopping. There will also be a special presentation of home projects which residents have completed over the past year. Other activities will include a carousel and Ferris wheel and entertainment to delight and please families who want to enjoy some fun and family time outdoors. Such events are often promoted and advertised throughout a community with poster printing.
Chief business services officer at the fairgrounds, Katie Mueller, said that the fair will ensure that the community will be able to look forward to the most important traditions which those in the area enjoy as they begin the summer season.
The Del Mar Fairgrounds are managed and operated by the 22nd District Agricultural Association and governed by a board of nine people appointed by the governor. In addition to the Fairgrounds, there is a Horsepark Equestrian Center, and Surf and Turf Recreational Facilities.
The fair will run from Friday, June 11 to Sunday, July 4.
