Justin Gasper is planning to open the main location of Hommage Bakehouse in the Sorrento Valley area in the Civita Properties.
Hommage Bakehouse opened as a wholesale business in August 2020 and has been the main supplier of breads and pastries to La Clochette Du Coin in San Diego. Gasper has been with the business since its start.
Hommage Bakehouse will focus on seasonal flavors using produce from the local area and will offer an expanded menu of breads and pastries as compared to his wholesale business. Gasper and his team are currently experimenting with new flavors and items, such as their Filipino custard buns which were popular when previously offered from the wholesale shop. Such new products and offerings can be further described using flyer printing.
The current wholesale business and operations will be expanding into a bigger facility in Sorrento Valley. It will also have a small window for retail sales. A grand opening is planned for the enlarged wholesale space. Gasper expressed his excitement about having his own space so that he can get to know people in the area better and will be able to reintroduce the brand in the region.
As a wholesale operation, the products of Hommage Bakehouse can be found in many restaurants and cafes in the area. Hommage Bakehouse is planning to open next summer.
