Dylan to perform in San Diego area

Bob Dylan has planned a concert tour for the year with a performance at the Pechanga Arena San Diego in June.

Residents of Sorrento Valley who are fans of the legendary singer and songwriter will not want to miss this concert. This will be his first performance in the area since his two concerts at Humphreys in 2016. Such special concerts can be made known to those in the area through flyer printing.

The concert will begin with two opening acts. One will be The Hot Club of Cowtown. Elana James, their violinist, had been a member of Dylan’s touring band in 2005. The other group will be Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Dylan, who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2016, will perform after a brief intermission.

Dylan has performed at the Pechanga Arena San Diego twice before—once when it was known as the San Diego Sports Arena and then in 2012 when it was the Valley View Casino Center. He was accompanied by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers at the same venue when he opened his tour in 1986.

The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17 at 7:00 pm. Ticket prices range from $49.50 to $89.50 per person. VIP tickets are available will include front row seats, specially designed merchandise, and a commemorative ticket.
