The San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) will be holding its intersession classes next month.
The College District includes San Diego Miramar College, San Diego Mesa College, San Diego City College, and the Continuing Education Division. Residents of Sorrento Valley may want to take advantage of these classes as tuition for in-state residents is $46 per credit unit.
Classes will be meeting daily as the classes last between four and six weeks and will cover the same material as regular semester-long 16-week classes. Registration is currently opened for these classes, as well as for the spring semester. Registration can be completed online or on campus, where printed applications are available. Local Print shops are often used to create such applications.
There will be 75 different general education and elective courses from which to choose that will enable students to enhance their skills or reduce the amount of time towards a certification or degree. Among the courses to be offered are ones in the areas of aircraft maintenance, technology, and aeronautics; art, graphics, and multimedia; business; and computer networking and information technology.
The SDCCD is the second largest community college district in the state of California and offers programs that advance skills, or lead to vocational certificates and associate degrees. Intersession runs from January 2 through January 29.Get a Free Quote for Print
