Sacramento to organize conference for public works officials

The County Engineers Association of California (CEAC) will hold an event in Sacramento at the Capitol Event Center.

The 19th Annual CEAC Policy Conference is an event where public works officials in California can network with other professionals and attend educational discussions. Many types of officials can take part in the convention, including county surveyors, planning directors, and CEAC affiliates. Several speakers will be at the conference, such as Tom Koutroulis, Matt Randal, and Panos Kokka. People can attend committee meetings for transportation, surveyor, and water resources policies.

There will be several activities held at the policy conference, including an invitation-only breakfast on the first day of the event and an awards luncheon for the 2024 County Local Streets and Roads Awards winners. Guests can also participate in a CEAC County Hospitality Night that features a corn hole social and buffet dinner. There will even be a networking breakfast and a City and County Pavement Improvement Center update session, all of which adds up to plenty of opportunities to exchange Business Cards and forge new contacts.

The policy convention will take place on Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23. Tickets to the conference will cost $150 for members of the CEAC and $250 for non-members. Companies can sponsor the event for $1,000. There is also a lanyard sponsorship available for $3,500.
