Mortons Sacramento puts on exclusive dinner

Morton’s The Steakhouse in downtown Sacramento will present an indulgent culinary evening featuring Wagyu beef, fine wines, and expertly crafted whiskey pairings.

The event, known as the Whiskey, Wagyu, and Wine Dinner, offers a curated five-course experience for guests seeking elevated dining with a refined twist.

The evening begins with an optional VIP pre-party tasting at 6 pm, where attendees can enjoy a Wagyu cheesesteak paired with a Horse Soldier Old Fashioned flight, featuring straight, small-batch, and barrel-strength bourbons. The exclusive tasting is available for an additional $29 per person. Following the pre-event, the dinner officially begins at 6:30 pm, featuring a range of Wagyu-centered dishes accompanied by thoughtfully paired cocktails and wines.

Courses include Wagyu “Pigs in a Blanket” with mustard aioli and smoked sausage, bone marrow bruschetta with arugula salad, Wagyu skirt steak frites, Wagyu meatloaf with a wrap of bacon, and a dark cherry pot de crème for dessert. Each course is paired with selections such as a spiced pear sour, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Zinfandel blend.

Tickets for the standard five-course dinner are $149 each person, including tax, gratuity, and fees. VIP access, which includes the exclusive pre-party tasting, is $178 per person. Ticket sales close on November 7th. Refunds are not offered.

The event is for guests aged 21 and older.
