Riverside to be dazzled by annual lighting event
Riverside will soon enjoy an evening bedazzled with lights thanks to the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa.
Traditionally used to usher in the holiday season, the Festival of Lights has grown to attract a wide audience and has become one of the most popular celebrations in late November.
The annual celebration is in its 33rd year, and organizers once again expect numerous visitors to attend. While located on the premises of the Mission Inn Hotel, the festival is open to the public. More than 10 million individual lights will be installed as part of a spectacle suitable for the entire family.
This year's event is being sponsored by Kelly and Duane Roberts; the current proprietors of Mission Inn Hotel & Spa. Live music will be held thanks to the performances of Matt Mauser and the Tijuana Dogs. Those arriving with children can also enjoy a stroll through the Mission Inn Candy Lane Store.
